What’s the difference?  Well, many Realtors work as “transaction brokers”, that is to say that their job is to act as a neutral mediator to bring parties together, without representing either party as a client.  When they do work as a representative, "Single Party Broker", it's usually for the seller. The duties of a transaction broker include:

  • Treat all parties to the transaction with honesty and exercise reasonable skill and care
  • Timely account for all money and property received
  • Keep confidential information received from a party confidential
  • Disclose information pertaining to the property as required by Residential Property Condition Disclosure Act
  • Comply with all requirements of the Oklahoma real Estate Liense Code and all applicable statutes and rules.

As your Representative, I will also:

  • Perform all brokerage activities for your benefit
  • Obey your specific directions that are not contrary to law
  • Keep you informed regarding the transaction.
  • Perform property searches not limited to just what is in the MLS, I can help you with the purchase of a for-sale-by-owner, or other properties that may be for sale.
